Last week in Miami

We attended the 20th annual Asian Culture Festival on March 6-7 in Homestead FL at Fruit and Spice park. We were a sponsor for the second consecutive year.

The festival had a great atmosphere, and we met people from not just Asian cultures, but European ones as well. When things were rolling, we were swamped. Approximately 300 people stopped by the NLSC booth. And that included some of our members stopping by to say hi. We were able to promote the NLSC on stage to a packed audience and distribute over 300 brochures to attendees.

On the even of the festival, March 5, we also hosted a meet-and-greet social for NLSC members. Members, excited to meet each other, also mingled with our staff, and the staff updated the Members on our latest activities. The NLSC staff distributed festival admission tickets to NLSC members, their families as well as prospective members who were also there.

I think we'll be back in 2011!
